Comelec warns candidates planning to do "double candidacy"

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) warned Senatorial candidates that are also nominees in the Partylist elections.
Radio report of dwIZ’s radio Reporter Jill Resontoc quoted the Comelec Spokesman James Jimenez as saying that "double candidacy" is not allowed in the coming May polls.
Jimenez noted that such act breaches the election law that was set forth by the Comelec.
He added that candidates who plan to do such will possibly face election protests, for violating the law.
