Authority to fire Lacson passed to the Senate

Palace stated that they will leave the resolution to get rid of Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson to the Senate.
Lacson as of now remains to be on the wanted list of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after the court released a warrant of arrest against the Senator--after he got tagged as one of the primary suspects in the Dacer-Corbito double murder case.
Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Charito Planas stated that the Senate has its own procedure on how they will undertake and react to such circumstance, and the decision will be up to them.
