Senator’s P17 Million spending not anomalous

Staff of Senator Antonio Trillanes stated that there are no illegal or anomalous activities that involves the former soldier turned lawmaker --after placing fourth on Statesmen’ with the highest expenditures in a session of the 14th Congress.
Radio interview with Atty. Rey Robles, the Chief of Staff of Senator Trillanes with dwIZ stated that there were P17 Million worth of total expenses that were summed by his staffs-- because of his numerous programs to fight poverty.
Robles assured that they were able to help the poor after many calamities have hit the country this year.
They also believe that the newly-inked laws that were recently passed in the Congress to help the poor will take years before they may benefit from it, that’s why they decided to spend the said amount to aid the victims of the calamities that previously struck the country.
