Lacson not in hiding

Lawyer of Senator Panfilo Lacson was alarmed after news reports that have circulated through the media that have been continually claiming that his client (Lacson) was hiding from cases filed against him on the Dacer-Corbito double murder case.
According to Legal Spokesman Atty. Alex Avisado, Lacson was not trying to escape the case, nor was he a fugitive of the law.
He also clarified that Lacson’s move to go off the country was not a form of "escape" as the Senator has no pending Mandamiento de Aresto, released in the court.
Avisado also note that the court hasn’t released a decision on the filed motions and pleadings yet.
