El Nino affects Cagayan Valley

Drought might be the worst effect of an El Nino Phenomena.
As of now, the effects of El Nino in the Cagayan valley have been continually heightening-- affecting the agricultural sector greatly.
According to the National Irrigation Administration (NIA-2) Director Vic Galvez there are 11,000 hectares of 203,000 hectares that were badly affected by the said phenomena.
NIA had been partaking mitigating measures to control its effects on the agri-sector.
